Our Mandate

To develop projects and activities and to promote:

1. Active participation and advancement of women in the union and labour movement;
2. Mobilization of women around specific demands such as:
• Universal, accessible and quality childcare
• Pay equity
• Ending violence and harassment
• Maternity/parental leave
• More flexible work hours
• job security, and many others

Meetings

Halifax PSAC Regional Women's Committee invites all Alliance women to participate.

Meetings are scheduled for the second Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. and are held at PSAC Halifax Regional Office 287 Lacewood Dr., Suite 301 Halifax, NS

On-site childcare is provided for meetings upon request.
